After over 5 years of blogging, I have many posts here on W&W. Over the years, you put out content you love…and some you honestly kinda hate but you put out because you need content. That is what I’m trying to avoid with this relaunch. And to inspire me, I thought I would share 10 of my absolute favorite blog posts that I have done on Writings & Worship.
Some of these are beauty-related, some are faith-based, and some are lifestyle posts. I didn’t include any photography posts because how could I only pick 10 of those??
And please note, even if these were sponsored posts, I’m mentioning them for profit, I’m sharing because I truly was proud of these collaborations. However, there are still active affiliate links on some of these posts.
Top 10 Favorite Blog Posts
#1 TJ Maxx Shopping Tips
The TJ Maxx shopping tips is not only one of my favorite posts but many of yours as well. This post shares some really helpful tips for shopping for makeup and beauty products at TJ Maxx. If you’ve never shopped for makeup there, it can be a little overwhelming and sometimes discouraging. You definitely have to hunt for good stuff at times, but usually, it’s worth it in the end! I’ve also done a TJ Maxx Haul and should have another one up soon- so keep your eye out!
#2 Getting my best smile with the CariPro
*This section includes affiliate links & codes*
I’ve worked with Smile Brilliant a few times and each time has been a success! PS, I’m currently working with them right now on a new product/service they offer & I can’t wait to share more. But the CariPro electric toothbrush has been a great toothbrush that I was really excited to share with my readers. To this day, I’m still really proud of my partnership with Smile Brilliant! I still have a coupon code for 20% off Smile Brilliant’s electric toothbrushes.

#3 Scunci x Alyson Haley Collab
Reminder, this post was NOT sponsored. I purchased all these hair accessories myself to review for you guys! Not only are these some of the cutest and best hair accessories I’ve tried…I also loved these pictures and how they turned out. Sometimes as a blogger, you have this mental picture of how you want a photoshoot to go, and sometimes they actually turn out like that. Honestly, that is why I consider this one of my favorite posts is because these pictures turned out so well.
#4 Fancii Cora 3 Review
My collab with Fancii was another one of my proudest moments as a blogger. Mainly because I honestly loved this Cora 3 and was so excited to be sent it to test out for you guys. My coupon code is no longer valid but I still really recommend this brush system. speaking from a visual statement, I also loved how these pictures turned out as well. This collab also came at a really hard time, right after my father passed away, so this was a fun and lighthearted post to focus on.
#5 Colourpop Build your own palette
I couldn’t talk about my favorite blog posts without talking about my post about the build-your-own palette at Colourpop. I felt like this was one of my most thorough reviews as far as beauty items went. I shared about the ordering process all the way to swatches of all the items. I’m thinking of doing another build-your-own palette of just eyeshadows…would that be something you would be interested in? Let me know in the comments!
#6 Waving Through a Window || a depiction of anxiety
This post is for all my anxious friends, and for people who are curious what it is like to have an anxiety disorder. Everytime I would listen to “Waving Through a Window” I would see the similarities to my own mental health journey in many aspects. I finally put those thoughts together and came up with this post. One of my more popular posts as well & just a personal step for me to open up and share more about my anxiety.
#7 You Split the Seas
One of my earlier posts, “You Split the Seas” has always been really special to me. It is a written example of my thought process when I listened to the song “No Longer Slaves.” I also share about the passage in Exodus that the song reminds me of…I’m not sure why, but I have always been really proud of this post and God continues to use it to teach me lessons.
#8 Loving God when dealing with grief
After my dad died, I began to really open up and write about my grief. It wasn’t easy, it was needed. I process through writing and I decided to share some of my grief on my blog in hopes of helping someone else that was struggling. I think this post is one of my most honest, real-life posts about grief and Christianity. It is raw and gut-wrenching for me to re-read because I still feel so much of that pain. But it is a post I hope helps my readers, even just one, remember that God is still in control even when you’re grieving.
Top 10 Favorite Blog Posts #blogposts Share on X#9 Drugstore Holiday Glam Makeup
I had to share this one because it is by far one of my all-time favorite makeup looks. I still do this silvery, smokey eye, and I love it each time! Not only can you read about the products I used to achieve this…you can watch me do this makeup on a Facebook Live I have linked on this post. It was one of my first lives and it was extremely out of my comfort zone!
#10 Living with GAD (generalized anxiety disorder)
Like my other more personal posts on this list, I include them in my favorite because I’m proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone and sharing some of these more personal things in my life. This post about living with GAD is one of the first times I publicly discussed my anxiety disorder.
Whether it’s a mental health post, an in-depth beauty review, or a brand collab…these are just a few of the posts I’m the proudest of. I try to put my heart into any post whether it seems like a simple post or not. What post of mine is your favorite? What posts would you like to see moving forward? let me know in the comments below!

I love the ColorPop one! I generally stick to the same shades when it comes to eyeshadow building my own pallette would be really handy! Although I might have to throw in a few random ones just in case I needed different colours! Thanks for sharing these different posts.
