If you’ve been around for any amount of time…you’ll know that newborn sessions are some of my absolute favorite sessions to do. Ironically it’s one of the first sessions I really did- I did a maternity and newborn session for one of my best friends. And they aren’t easy sessions, so to start off with that was a little crazy…but it’s worked out well. Newborn sessions can be stressful and you need a lot of patience (something I’m definitely not known for). There is a post on here with some tips for a newbie newborn photographer that I’m going to revamp soon, so stay tuned.
Anyway! Baby E was the sweetest, snuggliest little one. She slept through the whole session and honestly never cried. I have a tendency to get really awake babies, but E was the opposite. Can we talk about how proud big sis was? She was super excited, involved but incredibly well-behaved. She eventually got her stuffed animal and her blankets so she could “take pictures” of her baby. It was the sweetest thing. Little E arrived in the COVID pandemic and didn’t get her birth/hospital pictures. Between my new job and the virus, it just didn’t workout…but I am so thankful I got to shoot her sweet newborn session.
Big sister was also a “W&W photography baby” and her parents have been clients for a few years now. You can see all their previous sessions here: couple, maternity, birth, newborn.
