Oklahoma has its hotspots. Near downtown OKC- paralleling the Oklahoma river is a cute little piece of big city. Oklahoma recently received a Ferris wheel: the Wheeler Ferris Wheel!
A few weeks ago, myself and this sweet couple did their maternity shoot at the wheel. Luckily it was closed and we could still walk the property, yay for no crowds! The sun was bright, the wind was strong, and we captured some great memories.
If you’re an OK photographer, The Wheeler Wheel is a great location! It has the wheel, painted murals, hammocks, wire tables with chairs, wood picnic building, and so many perfect places for a shoot. Just don’t be surprised if you find some characters while you’re there!
We were met with a stray dog, a few teens just living their best life in the hammocks (in the direct sun)…oh! and a random shirtless runner, covered in sweat, asking for us to take his picture. It was definitely a memorable shoot!
I am so thrilled to share this couples maternity session! Their little girl is due this month and I can’t wait to meet her! These two are some of the most laid back clients I’ve worked with- they just go with the flow! Some of my favorite shots are some stolen glances between the two, so sweet!
