2021, so far it hasn’t been any better than 2020, am I right? I started off planning 2021 to be the year I got my blog back on track, started focusing on it again. Falling in love with writing again. Falling in love with makeup again. However, 2021 has been just as exhausting as the previous years and I’ve barely blogged since Christmas. I figured you all deserved a bit of a life update.
Life Update + where I’ve been
The blog, photography, and writing are still my goals for this year. The rough start won’t stop me. But where have I been? Well, I’m currently typing by the fire while snow falls. There are already 8 inches or so of snow already covering my yard. The temp has been in the negatives and single digits. Arctic blasts, snowmageddon, whatever you want to call it has me currently homebound. But the last week has been a nightmare for other reasons.
Over a week ago, we took my mom into the ER thinking she had bronchitis. There are a lot of things that happened that I’m not yet ready to talk about but we could have lost my mom. She’s healing now, gaining strength but my mind has been a million other places lately. My dad’s death, my grandma’s death, pandemic, mom being so sick…it seems like one thing after another. And has the pandemic just stolen anyone else’s eagerness and drive to do anything? I’m sure I’m not the only one.
God has been showing me a lot of things lately and I’ll be sharing in the future. For now, just know I am here. Writings and Worship is still a big piece of my heart. I’ll get back to a proper posting schedule soon. I’ve got some new products that I’ve been sent to share with you and some other great post ideas lined up. I just wanted to reach out and say, I’m still here. I’m thankful for all my readers that have walked with me through some tough times and some times where blogging was the last thing on my mind.
I’m excited for what is to come for W&W- stay tuned! Also, make sure we are friends on social media as I work to be more active on there as well.
