Happy weekend! I hope you’re staying cool and getting some rest. Today I’ve got an adorable newborn shoot to share with you. You should have seen the Giroux families maternity and fresh 48 session…now it’s time for the newborn session!
Baby Giroux was a little older than I typically do for newborns. My rule of thumb is within 2 weeks (for peak sleepiness)- but one tip I have for any photography- go with the flow! There’s no reason or rule that says when you have to do newborn sessions. Sweet baby Giroux had jaundice and the family and I made the decision to wait another week or two to let everyone get settled and the jaundice to improve. And I’m so glad we did! She was a perfect angel. So photographers-don’t stick too closely to a schedule or time table. It’ll work out great in the end! It’s more important for the timing to be the best for the family.
It’s been a trend that W&W babies seem to always be very awake and alert- she was no different! But I loved getting some shoots of those eyes. And Baby Giroux’s first name is also my middle name so the whole session was special!
Hope you enjoy this sweet little ones session! For booking context [email protected].
