Holy cow, my birthday is less than twenty days away! I am one of those people who really look forward to birthdays. I don’t typically like a lot of attention, but on my birthdays, I don’t mind. Ha!
I always enjoy seeing what people are asking for and I thought I could share a few things on my birthday wishlist. From beauty to house decor, I have a pretty random list this year! I hope you enjoy these kinds of posts like I do! Today I am sharing my birthday wishlist with ya’ll! Let’s get to celebrating.
Huda Beauty Rose Gold Remastered Palette
I’ve been eyeing this rose gold palette since the first one came out. I finally decided I really need it in my collection! It’s such a beautiful palette that I believe would work for all seasons. Those gorgeous shimmers are to die for, aren’t they?? For the most part, I think these shadows would look awesome on my fair, cool toned skin. I’ve never really tried many of those magenta shades but I’d love to learn to work with them. It’s a bit pricey, but from what I’ve heard, totally worth it. Do you have this palette? Is it worth it? Once they remastered it, I knew it had to be on my birthday wishlist.
Kate Spade 13″ Stripe Laptop Commuter Bag
I’ve already been gifted a gorgeous new Kate Spade bag, it’s a Pippa. But this laptop case would be so perfect for all my notebooks, laptop, and freelance items. I’m trying to stay very organized and this would help! I’m hoping maybe they will do another “extra 30% off sale items” and I could get this even more reduced. The Pippa bag I bought was a resale from Poshmark but was completely new with tags. Anyway, Y’all know I am obsessed with Kate Spade and this travel bag is so classy- and just my style. I love the simple stripes as well.
Capturing Couture Ellie Brooklyn with Hidden Pocket Camera Strap
I currently have a Capturing Couture strap, but it’s a little scratchy on me. I bought it at a was discounted price and I love it but once I saw these scarf ones, I knew I needed one! If you’re working on a shoot or even styling blog photos, you swing your camera around a good amount. This scarf strap would help it swing smoother and not hurt or rub my neck. I love this particular one because I like the mix of floral and stripes. They have other patterns or you can design your own!
If you’re a photographer, CC is a great place to get cute but good quality straps. My current one has no wear at all after 2 years- I just want to upgrade to the softer fabric! I also currently have a backup body camera so I would just switch my old strap to the old camera!
Stila Heavens Hue Highlighter in Kitten
Stila is probably my favorite brand right now and I was so excited to see that they came out with new shades of their Heavens Hue Highlighters. My mom has one of their original shades but I still don’t have one. When I saw this Kitten shade, I was sold! I love their putty like highlighters they really do pack a good shine. This shade looks like a perfect everyday highlight shade. I don’t think I can ever have enough highlighters, can you?
Linnmon / Adils Table in White (from Ikea)
Now that I have some good beauty storage, I want to get a full desk to dedicate to just beauty. I don’t really have a vanity space at the moment, just one desk for everything. Since I do freelance currently, I really need a normal desk and a vanity area. This all white desk is beautiful, isn’t it?? And so, so affordable. I love Ikea for easy things like this!
Morphe M439 Deluxe Buffer Brush
I’m currently obsessed with this brush. I have been wanting it for months and knew I had to just put it on my birthday wishlist. I’ve been searching for a good foundation brush. I love my sponges but I have been wanting to get back into using a foundation brush and this buffer brush looks like its perfect. I’ve heard such amazing things about this brush, and it is so affordable so that is a win. I love Morphe-such a great brand.
YSL Liquid Matte Lip Stain 5 Rosewood Gang
Is it a wishlist without a YSL lip? I’ve been wanting another YSL lippie since I purchased my last one a couple years ago. I have heard great things about these matte stains and this color looks awesome. My theory is when I spend a good chunk of money on something high end like this, I prefer to make it wearable and something that I would get a lot of use out of. I want it to be worth the money. I loved this rosy, mauve color because it seems wearable and pretty!

Happy early birthday! How exciting! I had a desk dedicated to just beauty too! Funny thing – I actually use the Ikea linnmon as my computer desk now and the Alex desk as my beauty desk!
