May Favorites 2016

I always love the ending of may and the beginning of JUNE!!! Why you ask?? June just happens to be my birthday month. But before we get into June, I wanted to share my monthly favorites from May!

May has been a great month overall and I have a lot of amazing products that I loved this month. A lot of this is beauty items and a few makeup items: Here we go! {Click the title of the item to buy it}

Whatever Is Lovely: A Coloring Book For Reflection and Worship I found this at my local Walmart but you can also find it online at different places. I love this coloring book! It has beautiful pictures with Christian and positive messages on each page. I have been coloring on this constantly during any free time I have.

Neon Lights Batiste Dry Shampoo This dry shampoo was an impulse buy at Ulta. I knew I needed some new dry shampoo and I loved Batiste. I saw this new “smell” and loved the packaging and just grabbed it. Holy cow…it smells so so good. Pomegranate and Jasmine are two of my favorite smells and putting them together-I was sold. I am hoping this scent stays around because I love it. I put it on my hair just so it smells good. Dry shampoo is great for slightly dirty hair days or even just to get texture.

Hello Beautiful Fragrance Mist For about a year or two, I was sick of all things Bath and Body. I had used it so much growing up that I just got tired of it. Recently, my mom and I went in to grab some Mother’s Day presents and I am now hooked again. They have some amazing new smells, like Hello Beautiful. This body spray is a light floral smell that I keep in my purse for a little pick-me-up during the day so I stay smelling lovely.

Original Urban Decay Primer Potion UD Eye-shadow Primer Potion is my go-to eye primer. I was so amazed at how well it keeps the pigment and placement of my eye-shadow all day. I seem to have really used this a lot during this month so I had to mention it again. This is the travel size and it has lasted me since January. If you need a new eye-shadow primer, try this one!

Lavender and Chamomile Pillow Mist  I love a good pillow mist that actually works. Bath and Body’s aromatherapy sleep pillow mist has changed my life the last month! It uses Lavender and Chamomile essential oils to help me relax and fall asleep. I will be continuing to use this! I really feel like it works well.

CoverGirl “The Super Sizer” mascara 

Now, I must say, I am usually a die-hard Arbonne or Maybelline mascara fan. I haven’t used anything CG in YEARS. But I ran out of my Arbonne and decided to try a couple new mascaras just to see. One of which was this CG The Super Sizer. I was pleasantly surprised how well this worked for me. It definitely lengthens and separates but doesn’t really give me fuller looking lashes. The best part of the mascara is the wand. It is a thin one so I can easily do my bottom lashes without a mess!

Zoella Beauty Creamy Madly Dreamy Zoella Beauty is a beauty line from YouTube sensation Zoe Sugg. Creamy Madly Dreamy is one of her body lotions that I received for Christmas. Over the last month, I have been picking this lotion up more than any other I have. It is extremely creamy and soaks in well. The smells is subtle and not overpowering. Zoella is a UK vlogger so her beauty line is a hard to get at the moment but she just announced it will be available in the US soon.

Aurora Gel Effect Nail Lacquer in #152 Old School Pink 

I received this polish in my May Ipsy bag and adore it! The color is a vibrant neon pink that is great for summer. I used two coats and it stayed with no chipping for a few days {which is pretty impressive in my book}. I had never heard of this brand but I might be buying a few more shades!

Other 

I have finished up both Hart of Dixie and Psych this month on Netflix and am already missing both of them. I need a new show! Suggestions?
