Drugstore makeup is honestly most of what I use. Because I know so many of my readers also love drugstore makeup, I thought I would share some drugstore beauty gifts all $20 and under.
When I say “drugstore makeup” I mean brands like Maybelline, Revlon, e.l.f., NYX, Catrice, etc. All brands you can buy at places like Walgreens, Walmart, CVS, and Target.
I tried to find the most expensive place and also share the other options too so it would be the most accurate for you guys. I didn’t want to say it was $10 and you go to Walgreens and it is $15. I’ve shared links to multiple places for each item! *Pro Tip: In most cases, the actual drugstores are the more expensive places compared to Walmart or Target, just FYI!
Drugstore Beauty Gift Guide under $20
Maybelline Holiday Mini Lash Bar Mascara Kit | $10.99
Maybelline has been stepping it up and providing some of these little holiday kits or stocking stuffers. Maybelline also is my favorite brand for mascaras so this lash mascara kit is a great gift in my book. I’ve actually used all three of these mascaras and they are some of my favorite. Great gift for anyone who wears mascara. These small versions of them are great for putting in your purse or leaving at work for emergency touch ups! Also available at Target, and Amazon.
NYX Gimme Super Stars! Butter Gloss Lip Trio, Medium to Deep Nudes | $12
NYX has several of these little kits but this butter gloss kit with medium to deep nude shades looked the best for me. The butter gloss is one of my favorite lip products that NYX does. They’re very pigmented without being too sticky or tacky. Just like with the mini mascaras, these mini lip glosses are great for stuffing in your purse or leaving in the car. These seem like very wearble shades as well! Also available at NYX and Target,
Wet n Wild 4 Piece Holiday Prep Prime Gift Set | $10
This Wet n Wild 4-piece primer set is only available at CVS as far as I can see. However, it was unique enough that I wanted to mention it. This set comes with a matte primer and 3 sprays. Another great travel size set. The travel sets also allow you to see what products you might like enough to purchase in full-size. I wish it came with 2 primers and 2 sprays, but that is my only real issue with the set. The price is pretty good for 4 items!
Real Techniques Flawless Base Set | $20
Real Techniques brushes have always been a great gift. My mom, sister, and I have purchased their brushes both in single and sets many times over the years. This set comes with a contour brush, detailer brush, buffing brush, and a square foundation brush. This set has a good variety for anyone wanting to build their makeup brush collection up. I think these brushes would be well used and have multiple purposes. Also available at Target and Ulta.
Makeup Revolution Reloaded Eyeshadow + Brush Gift Set | $15
Makeup Revolution is sold at some Target’s and Ulta’s but it is still considered a drugstore brand. Most of the prices are comparable to other drugstore brands nowadays. The prices seem to be increasing all around. Anyway, this little set from Makeup Revolution would make a great gift. The palette is full of gorgeous pinks, burgundy, browns, and berry shades. The set also comes with 3 eye brushes which I think is a great bonus! Especially if you like red or berry eyes, this would make a great gift.
Soap & Glory The Glorious Five Gift Set | $17
Soap & Glory is a brand I don’t buy from often because I honestly just forget about it. They sell makeup, however, I’ve never really tried any of it before- I normally stick to their body care items. My local Walgreens sells a good selection of Soap & Glory- so keep an eye out at yours! This set comes with 5 travel-size versions of some of their most popular products. It includes a body polish, body butter, shower gel, face wash, and lip gloss. They advertise this set as the best of Soap & Glory in one box. Also sold at Ulta.
EcoTools Just Glow with It Beauty Tools Gift Set | $15
I was intrigued with this EcoTools set because I had never tried any other products from them except their brushes and sponges. This beauty tool set would be great for anyone who loves to do at-home spa days! The set includes a dry body brush, deep cleansing facial brush, dual cleansing pad, body roller, a tube of body scrub, and a tube of body lotion. Perfect for at-home spa days or even to just step up your normal skincare routine.
