Happy Friday! I for one am ready for the weekend ahead, are you? This week I have been completely booked and busy. I wasn’t able to complete some of my blog posts and that’s ok!
Today, I thought I would just hop on and tell you about some of the albums I’m currently loving! I talk about music in my monthly favorites and then of course worship music on Wednesday but I don’t really have a post about what I’m currently listening to other than that!
I’m a big music fan! I’m a singer, so I’ve been singing since I was practically born. I love how lyrics and be so beautiful and storytelling. There’s not much better than music, at least in my book. I personally listen to a fairly wide mix of music: Christian, country, pop, soundtracks, etc. If it’s got a good beat and good lyrics, I’m probably a fan.
I thought it would be fun to share what albums I’m loving because that shows you how much I really love it. When iTunes came around, albums, for me, became a rare purchase. I tend to just buy the few songs I love. These, however, are albums I loved enough to purchase it whole. Some of these are old, some of these are newer- but I love them all the same!

You’ve got my attention || Dara Maclean
I just recently found this CD again, (yes I still use CDs) and remembered how awesome this one was! If you’ve never heard Dara, she has a beautiful folk-soulful voice that is just incredible. I wish I sang like her! But this album is full of great songs that are perfect for cleaning or driving down the road with your windows down on a nice spring day. Most of the songs have a good, faster beat to them with lyrics that will speak right to your soul.

Unapologetically || Kelsea Ballerini
I mentioned this album back in my December favorites and I am still listening to it constantly. I’m a bit obsessed. I wish I had known about Kelsea long before now because she is such a talented artist. There is a song on this album that is called “In Between” that is much like my life right now. Take a listen! I love the feel of this album, it had a good mix of styles in my opinion.

Red || Taylor Swift
Classic T Swift. This was one of my favorite Tswift albums honestly. I still listen to it all the time in the car. It’s a great road trip album, am I right?? I think this album and Speak Now are probably my two top favorites of hers. Red has such a good mix of songs and styles, while this was her first “non-country” album, I loved it!
The Greatest Showman || Various artists
You knew it was coming. I’ve ranted and raved about this soundtrack for months. I probably listen to it daily honestly. It’s another great “get it done” album! I love to play it while I exercise, clean, or do my makeup. I did a whole life lessons post based on this album because it is so great. If you don’t have this, buy it asap because it is utterly incredible. I would say this is my most listened to soundtrack of all time.

25 || Adele
Another classic that I have been listening to again. I really need to add this one to my iTunes because I only have the physical copy. But when I am in my car, it’s usually on! My sweet momma and I love to rock out to this while we go shopping or something. It is probably one of her best, in my opinion.

Worship || Caleb + Kelsey
This duo takes well-known worship songs and does mashups with other songs. So for instance, one of my favorites, is “Ever be + Tremble.” I don’t know how they can blend two songs together so well, but it is beautiful. All these songs are songs I already love and to hear them put together is just so fun! I will say it takes a lot of talent to do mashups well, and they do!
Trolls || Various artists
Just admit it, you love it too. Normally animated soundtracks aren’t something I listen to constantly but you put Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, and Ariana Grande together and who cares what they sing- the album is likely to be great. I love this soundtrack because there are many well-known songs like “September” or “True Colors” that are just sung by these characters. Not going to lie, the movie isn’t bad either.
