Love Came Down // Final Blogmas

I remind myself of all that You’ve done
And the life I have because Your Son

Love came down and rescued me
Love came down and set me free
I am Yours I am forever Yours

We celebrate because He came to us. We celebrate because He wanted to be with us. Today, because our love came down as a lowly boy, lived a perfect life, and died for our sins…we celebrate. God is good, mighty, and ready to give us hope. Love, in the form of a babe, came down at Christmas and gave us all hope in a sinful world.

I hope on this Christmas morning that you’re focusing on that little baby that came for us. I love this song because it is such a beautiful representation of what Jesus’ birth was and is to us. He didn’t just come to give hope but to rescue us, like the songs speaks of.

While this song isn’t a Christmas song, it vividly speaks of the reason we celebrate Christmas. I think we fantasize Christmas when in reality it’s about Jesus coming to be a hope and a rescue to the lost. It’s not about presents, lights, or hot chocolate-while those things are lovely and meant to be enjoyed…today, I celebrate the fact that love came down to me to give me a reason to live and a purpose.

Today, we celebrate the fact that love came down to give hope and rescue us. It's because of Him that we have a purpose. His love sets us free. Share on X

Jesus came down to set us free. He was sent down to be born in a manger for me and for you, is there anything more worth celebrating? Not in my book. I hope you see the true meaning of Christmas this year. My prayer is this:

God, thank you for sending Jesus down to give us hope. He was the ultimate gift and the ultimate sacrifice all because of me and my sin. Love came down that Christmas and I still feel your love here now. Thank you for what you give to us as undeserving as we are. Jesus, You are the love that has came down and set us free. All to you we owe.

Merry Christmas W&W family! I hope you have enjoyed blogmas; its something I worked extremely hard on and have really enjoyed doing myself. I’ll be on a bit of a blogging break until the 1st except for a sponsored post coming in a few days. I hope you don’t mind my short little break, it’s been a busy year! I’ll be back and ready to kick off the new year! Again, Merry Christmas, and enjoy today! XO
