Happy Fiction Friday friends! Today I wanted to share some of my favorite Christian fiction books with you! I love these books and the authors. They’re full of romance, life lessons, and even some mystery in a few. You know me, I’m a complete book nerd. So these are books that I have read and re-read. So I guarantee they are pretty great.
1. Reclaiming Nick by Susan May Warren
Cowboys, gentlemen, horses, and a ranch…what more could you want?? This is a story of a modern day prodigal son coming back to his home and family, all while falling in love. “Reclaiming Nick” is the first in a trilogy all about the Noble family.
2. The Negotiator by Dee Henderson
I can’t help but read this book over and over again. This is the first in a series about a adopted family (the O’malleys) who all have extraordinary jobs. Kate, the main character in this one, is a hostage negotiator. This book has it all- suspense, mystery, and romance. You won’t be able to put it down.
3. A Thousand Tomorrow’s by Karen Kingsbury
Grab your tissues! This is by far one of the most emotional books I have ever read. The story of Cody, a harsh and rough bull rider, who falls in love with Ali, a barrel racer who has CF. Their love story is one for the books; it’s beautiful and sad and hopefully. You’ll probably hate this book but love it at the same time.
4. The Baxter series by Karen Kingsbury
There’s no way to pick just one of these books as my top favorite so I just did the whole series. These books are about one family- The Baxters. Each book follows one member of the family in their struggles and life. These are some of the first books I ever read, and they are still some of my favorite go to books. You will be hooked from the first page!
5. Danger in the Shadows by Dee Henderson
This is the prequel to the O’Malley series I mentioned above. I love this book. It’s got a great mystery to it that keeps you wanting to read even in the wee hours of the night. The story follows Sara who has been stalked her whole life and lives under constant security. “Danger in the Shadows” is by far one of my favorite mystery novels.
