What would Christmas be without music? I mean, I can’t imagine what the holiday season would be if there wasn’t countless versions of “Last Christmas” and “The Christmas Song.”
I was going to share my Top songs…then I realized how long that post could be. However I still wanted to share some about music, so I thought I would share my top Christmas albums instead! From Bing to Mariah, I love it all…but I narrowed it down to my top 5 albums. I hope maybe these are new for you, so you can go enjoy a brand new album this season!
Believe by Natalie Grant
Natalie Grant can sing. If you haven’t heard her, you are missing out. This lady has an incredible range and soulful voice. I could listen to her all day especially this Christmas album. She has classic songs like “Joy to the World,” “Let it Snow,” and “O Little Town of Bethlehem.” This album also includes an incredible original song called “I Believe” that is such a perfect example of what Christmas is.
White Christmas by Bing Crosby
Really anything by Bing is my favorite! I could listen to him sing all day. When I hear good ole Bing’s voice…I know Christmas is coming. I have grown up watching White Christmas and hearing his music so it immediately reminds me of home and great memories! I love that he sings some great classic songs.
Tis the Season By Jordan Smith
This is a brand new favorite from this year. I recently heard this guy sing and was completely amazed; he is so talented. I love his style of voice and everything about it. This album is a great mix of old classics like “It Came Upon A Midnight Clear” and newer favorites like “Grown-up Christmas List.”
The Season of Love by 4Him
Many of you have probably never heard of this band or this album. It is a Christian band’s album, 4Him, from the 90’s. I grew up listening to this Cassette then CD every year! It has been a long time family classic. What I love about this album is their original songs such as “Season of Love” and “Strange way to save the world.” These are two songs that take me back to amazing Christmases with my family. Not only do they hold memories, they have incredible stories to them. Both are great reminders for what Christmas is about and why we celebrate it in the first place.
What is YOUR favorite Christmas album?? Let me know so I can enjoy it too. XOXO
