Books I want to read next

Hello friends, yay! We made it to Friday! Since its Friday…that means Fiction Friday! I feel like it has been forever since we had a Fiction Friday post. I wanted to share something a little different today. Instead of sharing my favorite books or characters, I wanted to share what I am looking forward to reading soon. Books that have been on my “to read” list. Also, I hope you will give me some ideas as well!

The Restoration Series by Terri Blackstock

I have always been a fan of Terri’s. She is a christian mystery/suspense writer. I’m always a sucker for a good mystery. This series is about the world when it faces a complete blackout. What would you do with no electricity, phones, social media, etc??

Full Disclosure by Dee Henderson

Dee Henderson is the author of my beloved O’Malley series and this book has some of the same characters! Full Disclosure is not part of them but it refers to some of the O’Malley characters just with different last names. I can’t wait to see what this book is all about and how the characters from my other favorite series of Henderson’s interact within this book.

The Chase: trusting God with your happily ever after by Kelsey and Kyle Kupecky

The Chase is written by one of my favorite couples. Kyle used to sing in a band I enjoyed, Anthem Lights, and Kelsey is the daughter of best selling author Karen Kingsbury. I have heard that this book is a great read for any single lady. I am so excited to read this and see God move through it.

Maze Runner series by James Dashner

My sister read these books and loved them; but I am slow to this party. I have watched the movies and really enjoyed them so I want to read the books and see how they compare to the movie. Have you read these?

Some classics

I’m talking some of the books I “read” in school but never really read such as: anything from Ernest Hemingway, Jane Austen, and Oscar Wilde. Also, I want to reread “The things they carried” by Tim O’Brien. What is your favorite classic??

Let me know what some of your favorite books are, or what books you are going to read next! Until next time friends, XO

One of my favorite classics: LM Montgomery’s “Anne of Green Gables” series. And I agree with anything Jane Austen.
